Home page | Heron Hall Academy

We are an educational charity with a family of 4 schools and 2,600 pupils in North London.

We challenge every pupil, parent and teacher with high expectations in order to provide a learning environment to help each child develop individually.

At a North Star academy every child will experience the very special freedom that comes with having the greatest number of opportunities.

We aspire to excellent academic results, with year on year improvements, achieved through the first-class teaching of a broad based curriculum.

We will engender a core philosophy to make sure every member of staff understands and feels able to play a role in
our success.

Joining the Local Governing Body as a governor offers you the opportunity to make a real contribution to the life and work of the academy.

We have launched a new campaign across our academies to encourage reading between parents, carers and children. Read Aloud. 15 minutes. Every day.

Work for us? You will find a friendly, supportive and experienced leadership team. Enthusiastic, motivated and curious children.

Community Outreach is a service we provide for our parents and carers, to encourage you to take part in your child’s education in school.

A good nutritious meal at lunchtime has important health and educational benefits for children.

About Us

As you walk into Heron Hall you get a feeling of pride, of being somewhere everyone matters, where no one is left behind and where every single student can reach their full potential. The magnificent building and facilities, added to the attitude and high aspirations of our staff, inspires our children to work hard and stretch themselves.

Opened in September 2013 as a Free School, Heron Hall now occupies a building with state-of-the-art teaching, learning, and sporting facilities. It is an eight-form entry secondary academy.
