We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious title of Multi Academy Trust of the Year 2024! 

This recognition is a testament to the incredible dedication of our whole Trust community, including our students, families, volunteers, and all our amazing colleagues. 

We are truly grateful for the hard work and commitment that has led to this achievement. 

We beat off over 1,000 other trusts who are members of the Confederation of School Trusts (CST), the organisers of these Awards for Excellence.

In particular, we have done extraordinarily well to beat some of the very biggest trusts in the country.

The Chair of our Board of Trustees, Dr Donald Graham, has issued this quote:

“Winning the MAT of the Year award is a fantastic achievement that recognises the hard work of our staff, children, parents, trustees, governors, and the communities we serve.“           

“Our journey has been about breaking down barriers, driving up standards, and empowering families and individuals through innovation, dedication, and a deep understanding of local needs.”

We were also finalists in the Community Trust of the Year category but alas just fell short to pick up that award.

Let’s continue to inspire our students to believe in themselves and reach their full potential.

Thank you to all the parents and carers that were able to come to Community Outreach’s Positive Role Model event. Students invited their role models to recognise their impact and exchanged gifts. The event featured a screening of the Euro 2024 matches & a delicious BBQ & fun games, celebrating important figures in our students’ lives.

Join us for our PTA’s coffee morning on Friday, 7 June 9.30am. Enjoy sweet treats, including cakes and pastries, as we come together for a morning of community and collaboration.

Families enjoyed a wonderful cooking class where they learned to prepare a delicious Thai Green Curry dish with the guidance of Chef Sapna from @BigSpoon.uk & the Community Outreach Team. It was a great opportunity for parents to bond with their children while improving their cooking skills and encouraging healthy eating habits. Our Outreach team has been hosting exciting toddler gym sessions. Led by Super Star Sport , families have been enjoying fun activities together. These sessions focus on improving confidence, social skills, balance, and agility for children. It’s a wonderful opportunity for early development and bonding. Mental Health Awareness Week runs from Monday 13 May to Sunday 19 May, and this year’s theme is all about prioritising movement for well-being. 

Join us for our PTA’s annual general meeting Friday 10 May 9.30am, where we’ll gather for a coffee morning filled with sweet treats, including cakes & pastries. Let’s come together for a morning of community & collaboration.

The Joint Council for Qualifications provides very helpful documents to guide students on how to manage coursework, computer-based tests, and other types of exams.

These guides are crucial to read because they explain the rules clearly, ensuring fairness for all students.

They cover topics like avoiding cheating and which electronic devices are allowed during exams, helping both students and exam staff to make sure everything runs smoothly on exam day.

It’s important for students to read these documents carefully to fully understand what is expected of them and to prepare adequately for their exams.
