We warmly invite you to our Year 7 Open Evening on Tuesday, 8 October, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore our school, meet our passionate teachers, and learn about the exciting curriculum and opportunities we offer. You’ll also have the chance to speak with current students and discover why our school is the right choice for a successful transition into secondary education. We look forward to welcoming you!

This year Heron’s Open Evening will take place on Tuesday, 8 October 2024, 5.30pm -7.30pm.

You will be able to have a tour around the school to see our fantastic classroom, sports, teaching and learning facilities.

Headteacher, Arthur Barzey, will do two short presentations about the school to families in the great hall at 5.45pm and 6.45pm.

Free gift

Once again we will be giving all our families who come on the night a free gift to say thank you!

Information about a free, online Asthma awareness event on Tuesday 17th September

It’s been a great start to the academic year. Many congratulations to all our staff awards’ winners and special thanks to Doug Taylor, former leader of Enfield Council and Oveta McInnis, Heron Hall Chair of Governors,  for helping us.

Congratulations to our brilliant students at Heron Hall Academy on excellent GCSE results. We are so proud of you. 

Results can be collected from 8.30am-12pm in the Sports Hall. Students should enter through the main gate. Teachers and the Inclusion team will be available to provide support. Re-mark requests should be submitted by 9am on 29 August via the form, with payments made through ParentPay (£40 per unit). Celebrate your child’s hard work and perseverance, no matter the results. Contact us for more info. All forms have been emailed to parents. 

We’ll be welcoming students back in September. Here’s the schedule for the start of term:

Mon 2 & Tues 3 Sept: INSET days (no students)

Wed 4 Sept: Year 7, 11 & 13 (8.30am-12.35pm, with a grab-and-go lunch)

Thurs 5 Sept: All students (8.30am-2.25pm)

Fri 6 Sept: All students (8.30am-3.30pm)
