Encouraging our students to think big about their futures

We are organised for our students a special event where we dive ddeep into what’s coming up in the world of work, looking at new trends, must-have skills for the future, and why being able to adapt and keep learning is so important.

With a diverse panel of speakers from Netflix, the NHS, various business sectors, and the world of football, our Year 11 students had a valuable experience exploring their futures beyond A Levels and BTECs. They investigated upcoming developments in the world of work, examining new trends and the essential skills needed for future success. Through interactive discussions and presentations, they gained a deeper understanding of potential career paths and the evolving demands of the global job market.

The Futures Event, 2024 was a chance to start thinking about your career in the long run, not just what’s next in school. Get ready for an exciting future!

At the end of the event there was a prize draw with the lucky winners taking home 5 £20 vouchers and 1 for £50.
